The International Real Estate & Investment Show
2005 was held for the first time at the Abu Dhabi International
Exhibition Centre from 15 - 18 March 2005. The event
showcased most of the major property developments in
the UAE and the Middle East in over 42 exhibit stands.
The event showcased a comprehensive range of the latest
and best properties from UK, USA, Spain, Kuwait, Saudi
Arabia, Lebanon, UAE and other key property markets
around the world.
Residential
properties took the major part of the exhibition along
with commercial properties, financial institutions,
legal consultants, real estate agents, brokers etc.
The four day
event attracted over 4000 high quality visitors who
were nationals as well resident expatriates who found
the International Real Estate & Investment Show
2005 as a unique opportunity to find their dream home
and investment property under one roof.
There has been strong interest
from investors with the current rising property prices
and low mortgage rates. Also the event directly benefits
from the new law issued by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa
bin Zayed Al Nahyan that allows citizens the right to
buy and sell land in Abu Dhabi.
With Abu Dhabi seriously planning
to offer freehold properties to nationals and expats
alike, the show is held on an opportune timing for property
developers, real estate agents and brokers.
The exhibition was open from 10-1
in the morning & from 5-9 in the evening at the
Abu Dhabi International exhibition Centre.
