His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, will be the patron of the third edition of IREIS, the annual Abu Dhabi Real Estate and Investment Show. IREIS will take place on March 21 – 24, 2007 at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre (ADIEC).

"Abu Dhabi is today one of the most dynamic business destinations in the region. The aggressive economic diversification programme of the Abu Dhabi government has opened up diverse opportunities and real estate is one of the key sectors on the government's diversification agenda” said Dr. Sultan.

“Measures undertaken over the last few years to liberalise the property market and boost investments in the sector have made Abu Dhabi a very attractive destination for real estate development".

'“We are honoured that His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan has extended his patronage to IREIS 2007. This move will significantly enhance the stature of the event”, said Antoine Georges, Director of Dome Exhibitions, the organizer of IREIS 2007.

IREIS 2007 will occupy in excess of 6500 square meters of exhibit space and is a consumer show focusing on the UAE property market. It is targeted at individual investors and provides an opportunity for developers to interact directly with potential customers and conclude deals at the event.

Many of Abu Dhabi’s biggest players including Sorouh Real Estate, Aldar Properties, Al Qudra Holdings, Tamouh Investments, Hydra Properties and Royal House will also exhibit”, added Georges.

Since 2004 Abu Dhabi has seen projects with a total value of more than AED 380 billion being announced.
